Human Resources & Business Operations

Kristen Nowell has over 10 years' experience performing a full suite of Human Resources functions for small and large businesses, with employees based locally, nationally, and internationally. In addition to her work in Human Resources, her other functions at Northington Consulting include program control, assistance with development of bids and proposals including labor market research and pricing, and maintaining company operations. Kristen Nowell's expertise areas are human resources recruiting, selection, benefits administration, training, organizational development, policy and employment law as well as business analytics.

 

Under a Missile Defense Agency contract, Kristen Nowell previously supported the Advanced Technology Program Executive as an Administrative Support Analyst to the Standard Missile-3, Block IIB, Multi-Object Kill Vehicle Technology, and Common Kill Vehicle Technology programs. Her work included bringing MDA into compliance with DoD property accountability requirements. She also assisted with action items, provided status updates including impact to schedule and other implications to organizational activities, and tracked actions to closure. During her time at MDA, she was nominated by her client Program Director for the MDA Contractor Employee of the Year, which recognizes the individual contractor who has gone above and beyond expectations and has made the most significant contribution toward the MDA mission. She was also part of the MDA Team, who won the Program Management Award at the 13th Annual MDA Awards.
