Responsibilities:

  • Support programs for Department of Defense Small Unmanned Aerial Systems and Directed Energy platforms

  • Electrical sub-system design, layout, test, and integration

  • Work with component suppliers to facilitate supply chain quality

  • Write acceptance test plans and reports

  • Work with cross-functional team and support field operations

  • Occasional travel required

Qualifications:​

​Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Approximately 3-7 years of experience

  • Electronic hardware design experience, including schematic capture, printed circuit board layout, and wiring harnesses

  • Experience with benchtop prototyping, test, and data collection

  • Working knowledge of electronic test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)

  • Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with existing Department of Defense security clearance and the ability to maintain that clearance

​Preferred:

  • Previous experience with Unmanned Aerial Systems design and/or operation

  • Embedded firmware design experience with microcontrollers and/or field-programmable gate arrays

  • Familiarity with C, C++, and Python software

  • Power system design experience
