Overview:
The 611 Air Communications Squadron requires cyberspace operations and Information Assurance (IA) support to execute its mission for providing Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance systems and exercise & training support for the Air Operations Center, Alaskan NORAD Region, and Pacific Garrison Support Units through network operations, program management, and cyber defense ensuring air sovereignty and homeland defense.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide relevant and knowledgeable technical and subject matter expertise for emerging capabilities.

Conduct front-end analyses and analysis of alternatives on systems capabilities and requirements.

Develop and document system architecture models, measures of effectiveness across warfare areas and system/software requirements and capabilities.

Support technical planning and communications architecture design and development.

Develop, improve, and implement Computer Network Defense (CND) and IA Vulnerability Management programs on classified networks and systems. Support continuous monitoring and assist in developing and implementing plans of action and milestones.

Develop and provide IA and CND training, guides and instructions.

Provide network and system security on PACAF mission and training systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
8 years relevant experience.
-
DoD 8570.1 IAT-Level II certification (e.g., CSA+, Security + CE, SSCP, GICSP, CCNA, GSEC).

Must possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to support operations, training, testing, and tactics development.

Experience performing in multiple cyber disciplines to integrate and support operations in hardware, software and networking, as well as program and information assurance policy directives.

Demonstrable experience executing defensive USAF and DoD operations on computer networks with familiarity on network configurations and protocols.

Demonstrable knowledge of DoD and USAF cybersecurity doctrine and applicability in a government IT enterprise environment.

Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with existing Department of Defense security clearance and the ability to maintain that clearance

Bachelor’s degree in related area.
Preferred:
-
Additional familiarity with HBSS, McAfee EPO, McAfee firewalls and securing Cisco network devices.

Familiarity with Air Operations Centers and Air Force Communications Squadrons.

Certified Ethical Hacker.
-
Penetration testing experience.
