Responsibilities:

Act as a subject matter expert for the B-52 aircraft, air operations, and employment of the aircraft in service unique and joint operations.
Work with government client and additional government and contract staff involved in a major IT upgrade for air operations planning for USAF and USN weapons systems.
Provide subject matter expertise on the employment of this new air operations planning tool for actual operations and effectiveness in combat planning and execution.

Qualifications:

Recent experience in flight operations in B-52 aircraft.
Flight instructor.
Understanding of current tactics, operations and adversary tactics
Knowledge in a modeling and simulation environment.
Ability to engage as the direct interface between the end users (Aviator warfighters) and IT software developers.
Ability to interact with IT developers on product features, usability, realism and ergonomics.
Develop realistic scenarios to relate the actual product use in the cockpit and air engagements with the software product’s design features and functionality.
Travel to customer sites to include attendance at technical reviews, software integration and test with industry partners
Subject matter expertise while acting as a liaison with customer representatives to ensure requirements are satisfied.
Provide presentations and product demonstrations with high-level customers.
Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with existing Department of Defense security clearance and the ability to maintain that clearance
