Responsibilities:
This is an action officer/ staff officer position in the newly created Chief Modeling & Simulation Office (CMSO), Secretary of the AF Organization (SAF/AQ), Pentagon.
Active reachback to HAF/A3 and MAJCOMS on OTI and training issues.

Qualifications:
Required:
Familiarity with Air Force organizational structure and processes (AF Staff and MAJCOMS). Previous Pentagon tour required.
Experience with AF operations in either the air, space, or cyber domain with an understanding of the HAF and Secretariat organizational structure.
Experience with elements of AF operational training infrastructure (OTI), such as, airspace, ranges, simulators, or Distributed Mission Operations.
Experience from AF operational training community AND/OR test & evaluation community AND/OR acquisition community AND/OR ranges and airspace community (all are equally beneficial)
Ability to network, coordinate, and effectively communicate with varying personalities fostering cooperation and sharing of information across a broad range of organizations and issues;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and especially Sharepoint;
Energetic, flexible demeanor with the ability to adapt to short-notice tasks;
Ability to travel (limited).
Bachelor’s degree
Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with existing Department of Defense security clearance and the ability to maintain that clearance
Desired:
Cyber experience; defensive or offensive
General knowledge of DoD Modeling and Simulation capabilities and governance.
Experience with elements of AF OTI, such as, airspace, ranges, simulators, or Distributed Mission Operations.
Experience as an executive officer
Master’s degree
