F-16 Subject Matter Expert/Pilot

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the F-16 aircraft, air operations, and employment of the weapon system in service unique and joint operations.

  • Work with government client and additional government and contract staff involved in a major IT upgrade for air operations planning for USAF and USN weapons systems.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on the employment of this new air operations planning tool for actual operations and effectiveness in combat planning and execution.

Qualifications:

  • F-16 Pilot; Recent operational experience. Instructor/ Evaluator experience

  • In depth experience in specific aircraft operations and systems.

  • Understanding of importance and effectiveness of HMI (human machine interfaces) in the aircraft cockpit.

  • In-depth experience with tactics, techniques, procedures and concept of operations.

  • Knowledge of USAF employment of USAF weapons systems to include Close Air Support, Air-to-Air, Aerial Refueling, Electronic Warfare, C4ISR, Airlift – combat delivery, Cyber, Combat Search and Rescue, Dynamic Targeting, and Special Ops mission sets.

  • Familiarity with USAF and Joint experience with the planning and execution of joint, and combined operations and exercises

  • Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with existing Department of Defense security clearance and the ability to maintain that clearance

  • Weapons school graduate is a plus.
